Fishing is good. But with temperatures warming back up some bait fish are confused. Some bass movement has been stalled as well. As a result, bass are orienting to remaining green grass and to flats adjacent to dropoffs.
Crappie are stacked around the boat docks and submerged brushpiles.
Largemouth bass are hitting jigs, Shaky Heads, slow retrieved crankbaits and small spinnerbaits.
Stripers are holding around the bridges, with the better action at the mouth of Songbird and Lizard Creeks. Less action around Pea Hill Creek. Successful anglers are using live shad baits.
