Fishing is good, with striper fishermen catching fish on live shad and bucktails cast up on the bank, in the upper end of the lake, near Kerr Dam.
Catfish action is good for anglers fishing live shad on or near the bottom.
Largemouth action is picking up, with topwater lures accounting for a few good fish in the grass and plastic baits taking them off points and around boat docks.
Bream are spawning in the shallows.
