  1. Largemouth Bass: A few patient anglers fishing live shad along steep dropping points are picking up some decent fish. The larger fish seem to favor late afternoon hours when the water’s had a chance to warm up a bit.
  2. Stripers: Good action continues with live bait and 3/8 ounce bucktails producing the better catches. Fish are stacked up around the bridges when the water’s moving.
  3. Crappie: Excellent catches for anglers fishing live minnows 8-12 feet deep around bridge pilings and submerged brush. Might take some searching, but once you find them, they’re biting well.

Those winds are going to make it feel pretty chilly out there today. Protected creeks and coves might be your best bet. The sunny skies should help warm things up by afternoon – might be worth waiting for that late day bite.
