Lakeland Theatre has cancelled “Sylvia” for March 31st and April 1st. One of the principle actors in the show became ill. In the place of “Sylvia” Lakeland will be doing the play “The Complete Works of William Shakespeare’s Abridged.”

"Sylvia" will play on April 7th, 8th and 9th, as scheduled. And additional performances have been added for April 14th and 15th. "Sylvia" is a modern romantic comedy about a marriage and a dog. Lakeland says "Sylcial" will warm your heart when a lost dog finds a new place to live and Sylvia becomes a bone of contention between husband and wife.

The replacement play for March 31 and April 1, “Complete Works’ is the hilarious show of all 37 plays of Shakespeare condensed into an hour and a half with 3 characters. Those who saw the play with Daniel Dunlow, Wyatt Greer, and Daniel Gardner done at Lakeland’s Theatre several years ago will remember the hilarity surrounding the show. The show is rated PG-13.
