HGTV coming to Lake Gaston for show

A film crew representing an HGTV house-hunting show, “Lakefront Bargain Hunt,” is expected in Halifax County next week. “A production assistant from an entertainment company in New York called and said they wanted to film,” said Wanda Clark, town clerk of Littleton.

Preparations underway for The Crossing

It’s time to sign up for one of the most fun and exciting events on Lake Gaston. The annual Crossing of Lake Gaston will be held Aug. 8 and registrations are now being taken online at osail.org. Each year, on the third Saturday in August, hundreds gather at the south side of Eaton’s Ferry Bridge, at Morningstar Marina, for an opportunity to cross Lake Gaston.
