While the first annual Lake Gaston Resort Seaplane Splash-In did not officially begin until 10 a.m. Saturday at the Lake Gaston Resort in Gasburg, Va., It was apparent the event would be successful with an early crowd already filtering through the gate before the official start of the Splash-In.
